Star Archetypes – Concept Art and Color Development
Project Description This illustration series is based on the fairy tale “The colorful star”. The project explores concept art, character design, and visual storytelling through a set of star‑inspired heroes. From early sketches and dynamic poses to final colored concepts, each stage highlights the creative process of developing unique personalities and atmospheres.
The characters are inspired by celestial prototypes — Rigel, the Sun, Proxima Centauri, and Sirius — and brought to life with a palette of violet and blue tones, glowing textures, and symbolic details. Influences include the game Gris, the art style of Genshin Impact, and the anime Land of the Lustrous.
This work combines fantasy illustration, symbolism, and style exploration, offering a look into how moodboards, forms, and textures evolve into polished designs.
